The Top Energy Consumer Trust (formerly the Bay of Islands Electric Power Trust) was formed to acquire all of the shares in Top Energy Limited.
The Trust's purpose is to hold the shares on behalf of Far North power consumers connected to Top Energy's lines network and to distribute the benefits of share ownership to these consumer beneficiaries as a group, irrespective of which electricity retailer they may purchase electricity from.
