In November / December, the Top Energy Consumer Trust again made a dividend distribution to its Far North power consumer beneficiaries.
Qualifying* power consumers got up to $200 (large commercial or industrial consumers received $500) as their share of the $5 million dividend paid by Top Energy Ltd to the Trust, from its profits for the year ended 31 March 2010.
* A cheque would have been sent to you if you meet the following qualifying conditions:
- Your supply was connected to Top Energy’s network on 31 October 2010, the date of entitlement.
- Your name and address details are the same as those recorded on the power bills you receive from your electricity retailer.
- You contributed to Top Energy Line charges via your power bills during the year ended 31 March 2010:
- by $200 or more (excluding GST), then you will receive $200
- as a permanent resident and contributed between $50 and $200 (excluding GST) and the supply is to your primary residence then you would have received an amount equal to the amount paid in line charges (excluding GST). i.e. No payment will be made for ICPs which are for holiday homes, electric fence units, water pumps and other non-residential usage).
Cheques were mailed to qualifying power consumers, during the week beginning Monday 29 November 2010.
