Top Energy has entered into a 3-year, Major Sponsor relationship with Kerikeri Rotary Club, to support the Northern Crossing Multisport Challenge, a high-profile fundraising event for the Far North.
Money raised in the event is split equally between Northland’s Electricity Rescue Helicopter (which is also directly sponsored by Top Energy) and the Rotary Club’s local youth programmes.
Starting at Hokianga’s South Head and finishing at the historic Stone Store Landing in Kerikeri, the Northern Crossing event combines kayaking, biking and running transitions as it traverses Northland, from the West Coast to the East Coast.
The Top Energy Northern Crossing Multisport Challenge involves a large cross section of the Far North community in a unique fundraising activity. Participation in the event itself encourages health benefits as competitors train and compete and the Far North’s spectacular scenery and interesting places to visit attract media exposure and encourage new visitors to the region.
